Core strength provides a solid foundation for movement of the extremities. Strong balanced core muscles help maintain appropriate posture and reduce strain on the spine. With this in mind the OCA has created a Core Strength Activity to use as part of an interactive event.
When demonstrating activities/exercises that involve a participant, the OCA recommends that you have the participant complete the acknowledgement form before performing the act. Please note that this form does not limit an individual’s right to pursue legal action against a member or the OCA. Rather this document provides evidence that an individual was appropriately advised of the risks associated with undertaking the activity/exercise program and that the OCA member acted in a professional and appropriate manner.
