There is a growing body of research on the prevalence and impact of MSK conditions, the efficacy of chiropractic with respect to managing these conditions, and how a range of providers working together is a key part of high quality patient-centred care. Additionally, an increasing number of reputable clinical practice guidelines are being produced to help guide providers in providing this care.

As health system partners, chiropractors seek to work with a broad range of health professionals in a variety of collaborative models of care toward the end of providing high quality, cost-effective, patient-centred care. The OCA has developed resources to help prepare chiropractors to prepare for collaborative opportunities, as well as resources for stakeholders to learn more about chiropractic and how chiropractors can contribute to shared patient care.
